Day 333: E-mails
I should have learned in nursing school that you never leave a decision to a group of people. You'd think that by now, by this point in my life, that I would have figured out that the bigger the group, the bigger the drama when trying to make a decision. For example, in nursing school they let our class vote to decide if we could wear blue scrubs to clinicals instead of our horrible pleated white astronaut/karate uniforms and after 3 rounds of voting, in which we offered to pay to buy new blue scrubs for anyone that said no, we still had to walk around like abominable snowmen...
But obviously I did not learn, because today I sent an open ended e-mail out to our entire college/career age ministry at church about a t-shirt design and holy cow the e-mails! 5 hours, 88 e-mails, 2 g-mail chats, 3 facebook messages, and 52 text messages later....I finally just made the decision myself and decided that if anyone is upset, mad, has their feelings hurt...well oh well, that's life. I blame myself for the entire situation because I should have known better....
and in the midst of all of this I burnt my chin on a piece of pizza...still not sure how that happened, but it hurt!
how can something so tasty be so dangerous?

Day 332: It's beginning to feel like Christmas
I started wrapping Christmas presents today.
these are for 7 people...good thing my siblings and I drew names for Christmas presents cause if I had to buy for everyone this stack would be quadrupled.
Oh there was also another present (for my roommate), but I let her open it early and I was so happy that I did. She screamed with delight, it was great! I kinda want to go buy her more presents just cause her reaction was so fun....I'm gonna be broke after this Christmas.

Day 331: Mille Bornes
Every time my family gets together we play some kind of game. Usually its "Aww Heck", last year it was Blockus (which I won), and this year we rediscovered Mille Bornes. It's a French card game that we played all the time as kids and I just learned that Timothy cheated back then cause the rule book definitely has different rules...
anyway, Timothy insisted that we play every time someone sat down at the table. So at breakfast and lunch we all had to play...even though Timothy was losing and he's a terrible loser. It was still lots of fun (mostly cause I beat Timothy cause he wasn't allowed to cheat anymore!)

Day 330: Rainy Day
As tradition states, the day after Thanksgiving is when we decorate for Christmas. Timothy put up the lights outside in the rain, he's very dedicated.
Meanwhile I stood on the front porch taking pictures...there were a TON of lizards
I see you!

Day 323: Ms. Jessica
Kelly and I went to dinner with one of the Wilson families at our church and one of the things their girls do while they wait is decorate napkins, it a brilliant idea! They decorated mine...

Day 322: Harry Potter!
Midnight showing of Harry Potter!
We went to dinner dressed up like this, and got a lot of compliments about how "cute" we were...I think they thought we were all in high school...
Some people dressed up like Harry Potter Puppet Pals
one side was Voldemort and Snape, the other was Harry and Dumbledore...and we sang "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" song all night long

Day 317: Baby Shower for Elliott
I went to Meagan's Baby Shower and got to see a few of my favorite people:
we couldn't take a good picture cause we were all too busy laughing.
These were some of the decorations on the table
Personally I like the robot...it's not very often that you see a baby robot

Day 312: Strep Throat
I have Strep Throat AGAIN, more antibiotics for me...yay...
while I was at the store getting more medicine I bought a daily vitamin
but it was deceitful. It says "one a day" but the directions say to take 2 per day
...this is false advertising.

Day 310: Dumb and Dumber
I've learned so many valuable life lessons from watching great movies.
One of my favorites was on tonight
Dumb and Dumber
So here it is, my list of things to learn from Dumb and Dumber:
1. Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose
2. When birds get old, their heads fall off
3. In Aspen the beer flows like wine, and beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano
4. When you spill salt you have to throw some over your right shoulder or you will have bad luck
5. If you lie to a blind kid, it will end up on the news
6. Do not pee into empty beer bottles while driving...
7. Don't day dream while driving
8. If someone has luggage, airline tickets, and you were called to take them to the airport then they are probably flying somewhere
9. You don't kill people you don't know
10. If you really have to pee, just go man, just go.
11. Don't lick frost off a metal pole
12. We've landed on the moon.
13. Make sure the toilet isn't broken before you use it
14. Don't run down a jetway unless you know the plane is still there
15. If someone leaves their briefcase, then you should do everything in your power to return it to them...even if that means driving across the country and accidentally killing someone along the way

Day 309: Grandma Slippers
I have these old grandma looking slippers that Janet and I bought our sophomore year of college. They aren't very cute, but they are SO warm, and I'm always cold, so I LOVE them. I've had various people buy me other little slippers to wear, but none of them are as warm as these...and I only wear them around the house, so it's not like anyone sees them.
Except I almost walked out of the house today with them on...

Day 305: Leaf Rubbings
I got to hang out with 2 of my favorite girls tonight! We did some leaf rubbings and played outside, it was fun!
We also found a helicopter! (I don't know what it's really called, but that's what we call it)
