I have these old grandma looking slippers that Janet and I bought our sophomore year of college. They aren't very cute, but they are SO warm, and I'm always cold, so I LOVE them. I've had various people buy me other little slippers to wear, but none of them are as warm as these...and I only wear them around the house, so it's not like anyone sees them.
Except I almost walked out of the house today with them on...
it wouldn't have been so bad if you did wear them out of the house, i used to wear some black slippers to church and school sometimes... :-D
